[darcs-users] whitespace in filenames

GHC currently just assumes everything is latin1,
I just posted some code to the ffi mailing list which implemented
properly localized string conversions and full unicode. it can probably
be used with darcs or you could wait until it makes it into the standard
haskell libraries...
