[darcs-users] whatsnew and record not catching changes

I just made one character changes to 20 files.
darcs whatsnew and darcs record
are not finding these changes
Since the size is not changing.

Can we store md5 hashes in addition
to files which are stored in current.

Comparing current files against 
the stored md5 hashes should make
whatsnew and record much faster and
reliable.
