[darcs-users] not answering to Shall I record this patch

Hi!

Just curious. Today I've made one line change to one file and then
executed darcs record. At the prompt

Shall I record this patch? (1/1) [ynWsfqadjk], or ? for help:

I simply hit Enter (forgot to type y). After that the darcs seemingly
didn't do anything. I waited a little at then hit Ctrl-C. I'm really
curious what was it doing? Still waiting for valid input? Then why
didn't it tell me that my input was invalid?
