[darcs-users] Behaviour of --ask-deps

I use --ask-deps and it looks like it is the source of some strange behaviour
  - 'record' complains that pending is in a bad state, but 'repair' works as 
expected
  - some old changes that have been recorded long ago reappear as if they 
weren't recorded (which is very annoying ...). 
  - sometimes, I get a 'Yuk, there are conflicts in pending", while 'repair' 
says/does nothing. In that case, the only solution I have is to 'unrecord' 
the patch

Is this to be expected from --ask-deps ? Is it a rarely used feature ?
