Oh, I didn't realize you wanted incremental backups. Antti-Juhani's  
solution is more appropriate then. You should be careful if you're  
using only incremental backups; if one fails (e.g. gets corrupted),  
all the backed-up patches afterward would be useless. Taking a full  
snapshot every now and again would lessen this possibility.
