Nice idea!  

Just a minor note (I've changed the page on the wiki).  It might be
better to make this wxhaskell gui, because

1) there's already been a bit of work on it by David Roundy and by
   myself

2) it's native to multiple platforms, namely, Windows, Linux, and 
   MacOS X

Unfortunately, I have neither the time to mentor or be mentored on this
(define student...), but I would love to see somebody picking up the
ball and running with it.
