[darcs-users] -p behaves inconsistently

They both add text to the top of the ChangeLog file.  Would that make
them depend on each other?  I can see how it might.  [tries reverting
ChangeLog portion of patch and re-pushing]  Yep.  Worked just fine.

What do people usually do with ChangeLog entries?  This means that I
can't quite have darcs just manage everything for me, since I'll have
to manage ChangeLog entries by hand.
