I see that it is also an option for a disk image. The
man page for hdiutil list the following FSs:
HFS+, HFS+J, HFSX, HFS, MS-DOS, UFS
Wikipedia says that HFSX is actually a variant
of HFS+, not the old HFS, so that's good.
Probably not journaling, though, but I don't know.
Any other reason to choose between UFS and HFSX?

am trying to solve a darcs problem with it, so I
hope I am not too far off topic. Funny - just a few
minutes ago I met Ruben for the first time on
Haskell Cafe, where we were discussing a
different darcs issue, and I referred him here!]
