[darcs-users] No patches selected

I don't understand what's going on here.  Is this a bug?

I should mention that I'm still running darcs 1.0.8, because I can't
find a statically compiled 1.0.9 anywhere.  Any pointers for that, or do
I have to bite the bullet and install ghc?
