Hi, again...

I went back through it on my new virtual machine. This time I was
more thorough checking the configure output, and I got all the
dependencies except for one (using Ubuntu 7.10):

checking for module Data.ByteString.Internal( fromForeignPtr )...
no; and neither in package bytestring

This is found on 8.04, which has GHC 6.8 instead of 6.6. Don't know
if it's an issue?

On closer inspection all the failing tests are at the end, in the bug-
demonstration section. What confused me is that there's no line at
the end that says "All expected tests passing" or some such, to
indicate that the failures at the end are normal.

I documented[1] how I built darcs in case it's of any use.

Ashley
