This is a project that uses qmake; a cross platform automake-like system. All 
you need to do is call 'qmake' which will generate a Makefile specifically 
for you.
I just wrote and added a README. Thanks for the heads up!

this seems to just be a very very thin wrapper that still shows git output 
plus error messages and uses names like 'commit' and 'checkout' instead 
of 'record' and 'revert'.
Vng intends to feel like darcs, using all the user research and experience 
that went into creating darcs.

Git (the database) does not allow you to alter the chain of commits without 
making a new commit. Which is the reason you are not seeing it in such tools.
