Oh dear.  Cancel that, then, and I'll try to figure out what's happened,
but I think you have everything relevant apart from the trivial fix of
Simon's fix, which I'll re-send.  Sorry for the confusion.

I might have written more carefully about using vc-darcs under darcsum
et al.  I meant someone like me should look into it sometime, unless
anyone else cares to.  (I want to keep vc-darcs separate, though, as it
(my implementation) has a copyright status such that it could go into
Emacs if the maintainers ever accept it.)
