Sorry to cause confusion. Simon's repo is the definitive darcsum one. I just (messed up &) put
mine there with the extra patch. I should just have mailed Simon to see what had happened to it, but I know
how things can be, and try not to hassle.

Regarding vc-darcs, I think mine at least has
support for more darcs and Emacs versions. I don't know
whether it still has more features, other than being
FSF-assigned, which was the reason for writing it.
(The original one couldn't apparently
couldn't get a copyright assignment, but perhaps its code
has now been totally replaced -- I don't know.) I don't
like to have competing versions, of course. I'll try to
find time to review the situation sometime.

I tried to change wiki pages once, but they just got
changed back as far as I remember.
