[darcs-users] darcs 2.8.x and ghc 7.6

Hi,

It's currently looking like it would be significant effort to get the
darcs 2.8 branch to work on GHC 7.6, so my current plan is not to do so.
When 2.10 is released it will of course support it.

Please shout if this is a problem for you.

The biggest issue is that haskeline 0.6 doesn't support GHC 7.6, and
haskeline 0.7 seems to have removed some stuff from its API. A
preliminary investigation suggests we can live without that stuff on GHC
>=6.12, but darcs 2.8 supports GHC 6.10 whereas 2.10 won't.

There's also quite a lot of messing around with the removal of
Prelude.catch.
