I guess I just wanted to make sure that this was not an oversight. :)

If it is intentional then I think it is fine for Fedora anyway and
probably also other distros.
Fedora 17 will ship haskell-platform-2011.4 (or better), and darcs-2.8
I expect anyway,
so I realised I am probably making too much fuss about this. :)
