Probably not possible.  If you can't see it, it's because in your
workflow(s) there isn't any.

In my workflows I call VCSes from all sorts of environments, and it's
a PITA when their output isn't just flat plain text in some of them.
For git I've had GIT_PAGER=cat in my Emacs configs for like ever, but
more recently than that I've run into the issue again with git in some
other environment or maybe on a new host where I hadn't fixed my Emacs
yet.

Whack-a-mole sucks when you're working.
